Pictures from the First Week

Here are a bunch of cute miscellaneous pictures from our first week as a family of five!

Sleepy cutie

Awake and thoughtful

Daddy has a good shoulder for sleeping on!

Aaron is not happy about being on his playmat!

Oh wait... who is that cute baby in the mirror?  Maybe this playmat isn't so bad, if that cute little guy will play with me.

Tummy time turns into sleeping time

 Aaron snuggling with Nana

 Big yawn

Tongue out

Holding tight onto Mama's finger

Peeking over Daddy's shoulder

Not the best picture of Aaron, but it was the first time he really went outside so we had to document it!  He is three days old.

Leah loves to hold Aaron

The Santaguida family came over to meet Aaron

We picked up the kids from school early every day that first week so that we would have lots of time to spend together.  The weather was nice too, so we spent a lot of time outside.  Leah got rollerblades for her birthday, so one of the days she tried them out.

And she's off! She did a really great job skating around the driveway.

Aaron's first time holding a hockey stick!!

The night before Aaron was born, Poppa had to go on a business trip to Singapore.  He was hoping that the baby would wait until he got back to make an appearance, but Aaron decided he was ready to say hello a bit sooner than that!  Poppa's guess was that when he got off the plane in Singapore, there would be a message saying that the baby was born.  Poppa was right.

Since he couldn't be at the hospital right after Aaron was born (like he was with Cameron and Leah), we did the next best thing and did a skype video call with him.  I took a screen shot while we were talking with Poppa (you can see my screen, with Aaron and I, in the bottom right corner).  Aaron slept through the whole thing, even though I kept trying to wake him up because how many three day old babies get to skype with Singapore??

More tummy time on the playmat

What a silly cute face!

On Friday it was a nice day so after we picked up the kids we decided to go for Aaron's first walk.  Leah had to take her bubbles with her because all first walks require bubbles, of course.

Cameron took his hockey stick and ball on the walk, because almost any time he is outside he wants to be playing hockey.

Aaron, ready to go in the stroller

Leah, Mama, Cameron and Aaron.  It was a very nice walk, although Aaron wasn't overly interested in being outside because he slept the whole time.

Love these pictures!! Keep it up--for those of us who live farther away, it is terrific to keep up as best we can.

Love you all,
