Cub Scout Frog Catching

The weekend after Aaron was born, the Cub Scouts had an outing to Baltimore Woods to do some frog catching.  Tim and Cameron went on the trip, along with Cub Scout Master Uncle Chris, Patrick and Joe.

The Scouts listening to the Baltimore Woods educator telling about how to catch frogs, what gear they'll be using, etc.

Cam's first of many frogs

When not at the pond catching frogs, Cameron was very concerned that everyone followed the rules and that no more than four frogs were in the bucket at one time.

This is a dragonfly nymph.  They found a couple of different types.

Patrick and another scout catching some frogs in the muddy part of the pond.  The other scout got stuck in the mud.  Several other kids did too, including one boy who lost his shoe in the mud!

He's got one!

Heading back down to the pond to catch another.  Cameron caught so many frogs!

Cameron had a blast at the frog catching outing - he loves all of the cool stuff that they do with Cub Scouts!
