Cameron's Last Day at Sweetheart

Since Cameron was three months old, he spent his weekdays at Sweetheart Daycare at our local YMCA.  He loved his time there and we were so happy with it.  So of course, his last day at Sweetheart was bittersweet.  Tim drops the kids off at school, so I asked him to document the occasion of Cameron's last day of Sweetheart.

Thank you Sweetheart for four and a half wonderful years of taking care of Cameron!

New York State Fair with the Borsts and Olivers

At the end of August, the Borsts and the Olivers came up to visit us in Syracuse so that we could go to the State Fair.  The Borsts come up pretty much every year for the Fair, and it was extra fun to have the Olivers join us too!

So cute!!

Ella and Leah.  Leah was pretty much attached to Ella the entire weekend.  Lucky for us, Ella didn't seem to mind a bit.

Woohoo, corndogs for lunch!

Who doesn't love a good corndog?

All of the kiddos love them!

Ella with a yummy curly fry

What a sweet brother, feeding his sister a curly fry!

Cathy and Ron enjoyed all of the best that Dino BBQ and Giannelli had to offer.  Yum!!!

Cousins pushing cousins

There were some really cool tree/flower people walking around.

After lunch we hit up the Dairy Building for ice cream and milk.  Leah was very upset that she didn't get her own ice cream, so she took over Mama's.

Cam DID get his own ice cream and he loved every bite.

Cameron enjoy the 25 cent milk

Leah loves it too

What a cutie pie Lucia is!

Ron was very happy to get his milk and fried dough

Silly monkey

Jack was very happy to get some cotton candy

Cameron was very happy that his cousin shared the cotton candy with him!

Leah had no clue what cotton candy was, but she really liked it when she tried it!

Cameron, Jack and Ella with a bison.  Leah wanted no part of standing near that guy!

Sleepy girl!  She tried valiantly to stay awake but conked out the last part of the day.

Our last stop for the day was to check out the sand sculpture.  This year it was a tribute to the Olympics.

Since we were there on the third day of the Fair, they were not done with it yet.  It was neat to watch it in progress.

The Fair!

We had a great time with everyone, love this tradition!!

Cam and Leah's Glowstick Party

One of Tim's friends gave him a bunch of glow sticks.  One night we gave them to the kids and they had a little party.  Of course, they loved it!

We told the kids to put the sticks up near their faces so that we could see them in a picture - instead they put the glow sticks right in front of their faces.  Oops!

Another try, a little better.

Mama and Daddy tried to do fancy things with the glow sticks

Fun times!!

Cameron - Fall Soccer

Cameron is playing fall soccer again, and once again, he is loving it.  Tim learned from Cameron's last season and decided to be the coach for the team (for t-ball, Cam had an AWFUL coach).  He has been enjoying coaching and the kids are having a fun season.  Cameron and one other boy on his team, Alex, are definitely the better players - the two of them alone pretty much run the field.  The hilarious thing is that they both know it too.  There was one game where only three kids showed up for Cam's team and one of the kids kept going and sitting on the sideline.  Cameron and Alex had no problem with this, easily keeping the ball away from the other team, which had seven players!  It was hilarious.  Here are some pictures from one of Cam's games.
