Miscellaneous May Pictures

To wrap up the month of May, here are a bunch of miscellaneous pictures that I haven't posted yet.

Leah and Aaron

One of his weekly photo pictures - I love how we put his arm around Roo.  So adorable!

Kisses from Mama!

Tummy time - he doesn't seem to mind it so much this time.

Kisses from Cameron

Yaawwwwnnnn!

Leah wanted her picture taken too

Leah's new favorite thing to do is act like a goofball whenever we get the camera out.  She will normally smile for one picture as long as we promise to let her take a silly one afterwards.

Cameron loves to hold his baby brother

So does Leah!

May - what a wonderful month! :)

Aaron's First Crunch Game

The Syracuse Crunch went all the way to the Calder Cup finals this year, so even though Aaron was born in May, he got to go to three Crunch games!  Not that he really watched much of the game - for the most part he just slept.  Considering that they were playoff games and were EXTREMELY loud, I guess that is an accomplishment!

Tucked into the sling, taking a snooze

All three kiddos.  Not the best shot of Cam.  :-P

Leah waving to the players

Then she realized the camera was on her so she started to ham it up!

Two sleepy boys

Aaron wearing his Crunch onesie!

And don't worry, we had little ear plugs in his ears so the major noise didn't bother Aaron at all.  We can't wait to take him to games next year when he'll be more into watching the game and checking out what is going on.

Visit from the Olivers

Over Memorial Day weekend, the Olivers came to visit us and meet Aaron.  We were so glad to have them and the kids were super excited to play with Lucia.  They arrived late on Friday night, after Cameron and Leah went to bed.  That meant that Saturday morning, Cam and Leah were up early, bouncing off the walls and waiting for Lucia to be awake.  We made them stay quietly in our room waiting to hear her awake, so I think the second they heard her they flew out of our bed and tackled her.  Talk about a wake up call!!

On Saturday we went to Beaver Lake to go for a hike.  It was a bit chillier than we expected so we only went on a short walk, but it was really nice.

Cameron liked to run ahead.  That worked out well because it kept him warm!

Let's hold hands, Lucia!

Really, could they be any cuter?  They were running after Cameron while holding hands.  What sweeties!

 Cousins!

The photo shoot ended quite quickly after Cameron spotted a squirrel - they were all up and off the bench to check it out.

Pretty girl

Walking through the woods

Leah, let's hold hands again!

It turns out that Uncle Ron is fantastic at making kiddos fly.  Everyone wanted as many turns as he would give them.  Uncle Ron was pretty sore that night, I think.

Flying Leah

Lucia high in the sky

Cameron is a little heavier so he couldn't go as high, but look at that form!

There is a new children's play room in the Beaver Lake Nature Center so we spent a while playing there.  It has games, books, crayons, toys and a tent to play in.  Tons of things that kids love!

Cameron and Leah playing a game

Aaron slept through the whole walk and most of the nature center

Lucia doing some coloring

Cathy enjoyed reading the books

Cam is pretty excited about something!

There were turtles and other small animals to look at in the main part of the nature center.

We had dinner at our house on Saturday night, and played and hung out with the Olivers.  We did the same on Sunday morning.  It was a nice relaxing, fun weekend.  Thanks for coming to visit!!

Leah Lovely - Aaron's Singing

When it is bedtime for Cameron and Leah, we try to have Aaron napping or content so that Tim and I can focus on the other two and getting them to bed.  That doesn't always work out, so sometimes Aaron accompanies us on the bedtime routine.

On this particular night, Aaron and I were putting Leah to bed.  After we read books, snuggled, kissed and hugged good night, Aaron and I went to the door to say good night.  Leah asked for one more song: "Mama, you and Aaron sing me ABCs."

I started to sing and in the middle of my song, Aaron let out a big, LOUD poop.  Leah started to giggle, but I kept on going through the song.  Aaron pooped again, and then again, both times very loud.  Leah dissolved into giggles and shouted, "Aaron is singing with his bum!"

And now that has become the nomenclature for anytime Aaron poops or farts - he is singing with his bum!!

Aaron's First Bath

As soon as Aaron's umbilical cord fell off, we were ready to give him his first bath.  The sponge baths just weren't cutting it!  The kids especially were super excited to help giving him a bath.

My cutie helpers

Their first job was to fill the tub with warm water while I got Aaron undressed.

Into the tub he goes!

Once Aaron got settled, he really enjoyed the bath.  He was quiet and calm, just checking everything out.  Here Cameron takes a turn washing Aaron.

Leah liked scooping up the water in the tub and dumping it on to Aaron.

Cam and Leah were a good team - Cameron washing and Leah dumping water to rinse off the soap.

Time to wash Aaron's back

What a cute little bum!

Aaron got a bit grumpy after being on his tummy to get his back and bum washed.  Big sister Leah had the very smart idea to give Aaron his vitamins - something that he always loves.  Since she came up with the idea, she got to give him his vitamins.  He settled right down and relaxed for the rest of the bath.  What a smart girl!

As with the other kiddos, we wanted to introduce Aaron right away to getting water dumped on his head.  It has worked well with both Cameron and Leah - neither of them have any problems with getting water dumped on their head, going underwater or getting water in their eyes.  Aaron did awesome too, so hopefully he'll follow in his siblings' footsteps!

Close up on the water - smart baby knew to close his eyes.

And more water dumping while we washed his hair.  He didn't cry or get upset at all.

After we got Aaron all clean, Tim scooped him up in the towel.

He wasn't as happy to get out as we would have thought.

Hmmm, maybe all this little guy needs is his Mama!

Mama and her kiddos

Once Aaron was in pajamas, he was happy to snuggle with Daddy.

He does not appear to be enjoying this!
