Some of the lights around the little lake
One of the goals for the evening was to try and get a good picture of Ella and Jack for Kim's Christmas card. Unfortunately, because of the difficulty of taking night pictures, and the fact that the kiddos were freezing their butts off... well, none of them turned out all that good. Here is one of our first tries.
Cousins admiring the fountain: Leah, Cam, Ella, Jack
Tom and Joan
Leah the little bear
Another Christmas card try... Ella looks cute, Jack looks like a deer in headlights. :-P
More lights, and an overall good idea of La Salette - awesome in its gaudiness
Cute picture of Mr. Jack
And another picture of Leah Bear. We took lots of pictures of her because she was so darn cute with those pink cheeks.
There was a merry-go-round, one of the only things we had to pay for. Cameron doesn't normally like carousels, and has actually freaked out on the one at Carousel Mall, so we figured he would skip it. One look at Jack and Leah in line though, and he was all in. He rode happily with them and was so excited to go on it. Since then he has ridden on the one at Carousel Mall too. Thanks, Ella and Jack, for showing your cousin how to ride a merry-go-round!

What, no pictures of Jack's tears? There were thousands of them, how could you miss that??? Mean mommy made him climb all the way up the steps and actually smile for a picture... When will he learn that you do what you have to do to get a good picture. And, the sooner you do it, the sooner Mom is off your case. Well, I guess he IS only 5. Ella is 8 and she knows the drill. Only three more years. :)
