Christmas Preparation: Pick Out a Tree

The first weekend in December, we went to go get our Christmas tree. We decided to go out to a tree farm and cut it down ourselves. We went to Grace Farm in Central Square. It was a really nice place and we were glad we went there. Unfortunately, we picked to go on one of the snowiest days of December, during a snow storm. It was snowing like crazy and pretty cold, but we did alright and had fun.

How about this one? We were excited this year to be able to look in the TALL trees section of the tree farm because our family room has vaulted ceilings.

While Tim was cutting down the tree, Cam was busy making snow angels and throwing snowballs.

After we got our tree (which we forgot to take a picture of - doh!), we went back up to the front of the tree farm. They had a barn with a few animals in it. Cameron really liked the donkey.

Leah liked the donkey too. The donkey liked Leah's foot and tried to eat it.

The cut-out picture doesn't work so well when the poor baby in the picture can't even see out from under the brim of her hat.

It also doesn't work so well when you put your mitten in the face hole

Cameron liked playing in the snow. In this picture he was being a bear.

We tried to get a nice Christmas-y picture with the kids in the snow. Neither of them were overly interested in this picture, so this was the best we got.
