Beaver Lake Folksmarch

As you will see in the pictures, we are really far behind in posts. In these pictures, it was sunny with leaves on the ground, and we all have our coats off by the end. Now, well, the weather is slightly different!! But that is for a different post. And now, to catch up with stuff from November...

Meg, Ryan and Wes came to visit one weekend in November. We had a great visit and luckily, the weather was amazing so we could spend lots of time outside. There was a Folksmarch at Beaver Lake, so we decided to do that. It was a great walk and we were so proud of Cameron because he walked the ENTIRE WAY - 3 miles all by himself!!! He did so good and kept the end in mind, knowing that he would get a pin when he walked the whole way himself. I never would have thought that a pin would be incentive enough to walk three whole miles with short little legs like Cam's, but he did it! He is growing up so fast.

At the start of the walk, excited to be playing in the woods.

Wes was pretty darn excited too. He was running everywhere and had a blast.

Miss Leah enjoyed the walk because there was so much to look at.

Cam led the way for a lot of the walk

He was very proud of himself

Most of the group, minus Tim the photographer

At one point, Cam asked to get in with Leah. He figured out after about 10 steps that it was not going to be a comfortable ride and asked to get back out.
