Dear Daddy: Week Two

Hi Daddy,
I have been meaning to write another blog entry but it was a busy week! On Monday night I had swimming lessons. It was so fun - I kept trying to get away from Mama and swim on my own but she wouldn't let me! Silly Mama, she doesn't know what a good swimmer I am. We had fun and I went under the water a lot! I also had a doctor's appointment on Monday. Mama was afraid that my ear infection wasn't gone yet, but it was! The doctor said I was so out of sorts because all four of my top teeth are all close to coming in. My poor teeth!! Also, on Monday, Uncle Matt came over - he is home from Costa Rica and he came to see Mama and I. He helped me with my bath and then read me a book before bedtime.

On Tuesday, Mama had a hairdresser appointment so I went over to Grandma's for a while. I played with Grandma and Grandpa and Uncle Matt until Mama got back. It was fun. On Wednesday it was a regular day, Mama and I just played and then I went to bed.

On Thursday though, it was a cool day - I finally got to meet Aunt Susan and Alex. Aunt Susan is one of our best commenters on this blog so it was great to put a face with the words!! It was cool because I got out of school early on Thursday. Grandma came and got me after lunch and I went to her house. We played outside in the yard and went for a walk, and I took a nap. Then Mama got there and we had dinner and played. It was a fun night.
On Friday we went to Mama's work party. I met lots of your friends and Mama's friends. Everyone thought I was very cute and smiley. I was a really good boy and I stayed up late. I even got to eat a bunch of oyster crackers, and I loved them. I walked around with Grandpa, and there were some people who recognized me but didn't know him. I am famous!!

I love you Dada, and I miss you lots. I can't wait until you come home so I can give you a big hug!
