Patriots Training Camp

It worked out this year that one of the days of the Patriots Training Camp was a Saturday.  It worked out even better that it was a weekend we were already planning to be in Massachusetts for Lucia's birthday party.  We went to MA on Friday, staying in Swansea.  On Saturday morning we drove up to Foxboro to training camp, and the Borsts and Tom and Joan met us there.

Cameron was very excited to watch the practice

Jack and his newest cousin

Once his cousins arrived, Cameron was a bit of a crazy man the entire time.  He was tackling poor Ella left and right.

Tim really enjoyed watching the practice.  Everyone else watched a bit but mainly played (the kids) and chatted (the adults).

After the practice was over, we headed over to the Patriots Fan Zone, which was a huge exhibition with tons of cool stuff for the kids.  They really enjoyed it.

Cam dropped and did some push ups in order to get a pencil and some other goodies from the soldiers.

There were a bunch of bounce houses and the lines actually were not very long.  The kids were in heaven.  Here are Jack and Cameron starting off one of the bouncy obstacle courses.

Ella and Leah were up next.  Ella was so sweet to help Leah through the entire thing since Leah was too small for some of the parts of the course.

Here comes Leah down the slide!

And Jack - check out the air he got!

This was an NFL Play60 obstacle course that Cameron, Ella and Jack did.

Cameron's turn to catch

Leah was too small for the obstacle course so instead we went and collected prizes from other booths.  She was pretty excited to get some water bottles and sunscreen.

After we were done in the Fan Zone, we headed over to Bass Pro Shop in Patriot Place.  We checked out the store first, looking at the fish and turtles and other animals they have in the store.

Behind the store was a path through a cranberry bog.  We all went for a walk, it was really cool.

It was a fun day, but we had to get back to Swansea to go to Lucia's birthday party!
