Today was a day of firsts for all of the kids. It was Cameron's first day of first grade, Leah's first day in the Three's classroom, and Aaron's first day at Sweetheart. A very exciting day for everyone.

Here it is, he is excited to go.
One last picture before he gets on.

Aaron's first day - playing with toys already.
All three of the kids did very well with their first days. Aaron took a few naps and ate his bottles reasonably well (a victory for sure, given how Leah's first day at Sweetheart went). Leah loved being in the Threes, playing with new toys and spending time with her friends. And Cameron liked his first day of first grade. He thinks his teacher seems nice and has a lot of friends in his classroom. He also liked eating lunch at school.

Cameron's First Day of Kindergarten
Cameron started kindergarten on Thursday, September 6th. He was very excited (and a little nervous) to start school. We spent the days before getting all of his school supplies, including a new backpack, lunch box and new sneakers.
Ready for his first day of school!
Walking down to the bus stop (aka the end of our driveway). Besides Mama, Daddy and Leah, Nana and Poppa also came to see Cameron off.
He looks so tiny with that big backpack!
One last tighten of his laces before the bus comes
He didn't even hesitate when the bus came up. Just walked right over, no problem.
And he went right up the stairs without turning back. No fear with this one!
Well, okay, he did turn back when I called out to him and the bus driver told him to turn around so Mama could take a picture.
Cam on the bus
The bus goes to the end of our street and turns around, so Cameron figured out after the first day that he should sit on the other side of the bus. That way, he can wave to whoever put him on the bus that day. It is a nice ritual with him each morning.
Cameron's first day was great. He loved school and was excited to show us everything that he did and all of the papers he got. He is doing well riding the bus and is very happy about kindergarten.
