Halloween Night

On Halloween it was rainy and cold most of the day. We were afraid that we were not going to be able to go out trick or treating, but it cleared up right around dusk. We headed over to Nana and Poppa's house to go trick or treating, since they have a real neighborhood to go in!

Cameron the tiger

He like trying to chase his tail

Leah the little monkey

Cameron put his tiger head onto Leah the monkey. He thought it was hilarious. Leah was so top heavy with the tiger head on that she tipped over.

Bridgette and Abby were in Syracuse already for Cam's birthday party, so they decided to stay and trick or treat with us. They had awesome costumes - they were peacocks that were homemade by Jaime.

The peacocks and tigers had fun playing with Little People before they went out for the night.

Heading out for the evening

Trick or treat!!

They were so cute saying "Trick or Treat" and "Thank You!" together. They even (sort of) took turns ringing the doorbells.

Leah was not too excited. She didn't whine or cry, but I think because it was dark and there wasn't much too look at, she wasn't too thrilled. She did get lots of compliments on being a very cute monkey though.

First Poppa came out with us, and then he switch and Nana came with us.

Abby got tired towards the end so Jeff got to carry her. Notice his trick or treat, a can of beer from the next door neighbors!

The last house - Cam was determined to ring the doorbell so he went running ahead of Bridgette. He was very disappointed when the homeowner opened the door before he got up there and told her to close the door so he could ring the bell!

Cameron with his haul - pretty good for only go down half of one street!

Leah with a monkey hanging off her monkey ear. She is also modeling the one and only trick or treat that she could actually do something with - Nana's next door neighbor had a special bag for Leah with this bib in it. So thoughtful of them!

Cameron was allowed to pick one piece of candy to have on Halloween night. He picked the biggest lollipop he had!

Leah tried on one of the peacock skirts. She got lost in all the pouf and looked so cute!

To wrap up the night, the kids all played hockey with Poppa and then jumped all over him. A little sugar coursing through the veins, perhaps?

Cameron looks really tall in his Tiger costume, and Leah is the cutest monkey I have ever seen!
