The year started out with so much excitement - a text telling us that Matt and Gina were heading to the hospital because Gina was in labor. A few hours later, we got the amazing news that Connor Jack was born! Tim and I were able to go over and visit Connor just a few hours after he was born. What an adorable little guy!!!
Our first glimpse - eyes open and oh so cute

Cameron's 6th Birthday!
Today is Cameron's sixth birthday and since it falls on the weekend we can have his party on his actual birthday! Cameron asked for a Star Wars birthday cake so I made him a Millennium Falcon cake.
The finished product cake, complete with Star Wars figurines
Omi and Aaron
Starting the kiddo early
Matt and Gina showing Grandma and Grandpa their photo book
Time for gifts!
Cameron loves his Pats swim trunks
Birthday boy
Very excited about his walkie talkies
Silly Mama and Leah
Opening Legos - one of his all time favorite things
Next gift
One of Cameron's gifts from GG (great-grandma) was a mat that says "Pianists hold the keys to this house". When Cameron read it out loud to everyone, he said "Penis" rather than "Pianists". Everyone laughed so hard! Cameron didn't understand what he said that was funny, so he was looking towards me to see what the joke was. So funny!!
Time to open his gift from Leah
Before the gift is even open, he is giving her big hugs. He really liked the card that she made for him.
Cameron's two helpers - Emily and Leah
Star Wars present!
Cameron was very happy with his presents.
Time for cake now. Leah is so cute, waiting patiently for the cake and birthday song.
Lighting candles
A big breath to take out all of those candles
Blow out the candles!
Uncle Randy couldn't come to the party because he was on call, so he Facetimed with Cameron for his birthday instead.
Leah talking to Uncle Randy
Poor little Aaron is too young to have cake, so instead he got green beans for a birthday treat.
Cute messy little man
Every year on their birthdays, we take a Mama and kiddo picture. Here is this year's with Cameron.
And a kiss for Mama, from the handsome boy that made me a mama. I love him so much!

Lucia's Second Birthday
On Saturday night we went over to the Oliver's house for Lucia's second birthday party. It was a nice night, not too hot or cold. That worked out very well because they had everything set up for an outside party.
Jack and Lucia playing beanbag toss
Lucia loves Jack
Ella and Aaron
More hugs
I love this picture! I have no clue what they were looking at, but it is so darn cute.
The look on Aaron's face is fantastic in this picture.
Leah and Ella playing
Yummy cupcakes
And these amazing marshmallow treats. Both so yummy!
Lucia had no interest in wearing the adorable hat that Cathy made for her. Ron tried to show her how cool it was.
Then Auntie Kim tried. Lucia was not impressed and was having no part of the hat.
Time for birthday cupcake!
Take a quick break for hugging Jack (she LOVES him!)
Okay, maybe if Jack wears the hat, Lucia will think it is cool. Turns out that even seeing the hat on her beloved Jack didn't change Lucia's mind. No hat for that girl.
She loved her cupcake though!
Lucia and her mama
So cute!
Leah loved the birthday treats
Lucia did not mess around eating her cupcake - good stuff!
Even with crumb-covered lips, what a gorgeous girl!
Chocolate lips
I love her faces
This kid is hilarious!
Mama and Aaron
The party was lots of fun - the kids all had fun together! The next morning we headed out in the morning, but not before stopping over at Ron and Moira's house to say hello.
Cameron gives Moira a hug goodbye
Hugs for Mimi
And for Grandpa too
Leah giving Elisabeth hugs
And some for Adam too.
And of course, a big hug and kiss for Uncle Ron.
Another great weekend in Massachusetts!
