Pumpkin Picking

This weekend we finally were all in town, so we decided to go over to a local pumpkin patch and get some pumpkins.  We did grow pumpkins in our own little patch this year, but the deer ate all but one of them!  The one that we did grow is a tiny little thing, not big enough for good carving.  We are hoping to try growing them again next year and have learned that we will put a deer fence up!

It was a really chilly day when we went to the pumpkin patch, so we bundled up like it was winter and off we went.  Aaron wore the bear suit!

Not really sure if he likes that biting wind

Checking out the selection

Of course, they need to inspect every pumpkin before they can make a choice.

Cute bear baby with the pumpkins!

Three cute kiddos

And now, a series of pictures of the kids in every single one of the face cutouts.

Leah the ghost

Aaron does not seem to be enjoying the picture (maybe because his hat is over his eyes, poor kid).

Cam as yet another ghost

Cameron and Daddy as Frankenstein

Well this one is completely inappropriate.  Poor Leah.

Adorable Mr. Aaron

Next we went to the corn maze.  We didn't make it too far because it was a muddy mess.  The kids liked running around in it though.

Daddy and kiddos!

We picked out three really nice pumpkins.  Two big ones for Cameron and Leah, and a mini pumpkin for Aaron.  They are very excited to go home and carve them.
