Halloween!

Today Cameron had a half day of school for Halloween.  They didn't do anything special in his class for Halloween - no party, no costumes, no activities.  I thought that was a little weird.  Nana picked Cameron up from school and brought him to meet us at the YMCA to watch Leah and Aaron's daycare Halloween parade.  Great-grandpa and Great-grandma were in town so they got to come to the parade too!

Here comes Leah's class!

What a pose!!

Around again, this time she's got her wand in her mouth.  What a goof!

And here comes Aaron's class, with Aaron leading the way

Oops, monkey fell over!

Okay, let's try this sitting down so everyone can hold up the little monkey who is just learning to sit up.

We go in the same order every year, stopping at all of the neighbors' houses so they can see the cute kiddos.

Weekly Photo Cuteness

Every week for the first year of their lives, we have taken each of the kids' pictures with a special stuffed animal.  We were taking Aaron's weekly photo today (Week 25!) and Cameron and Leah decided that they wanted to join in the fun.

First, Aaron's weekly shot.  What a cute little monkey.

Cameron and his Pooh bears (one is his, the other is Mama's)

Leah and her Tigger

Another cute one of Mr. Aaron with his Roo

All three kiddos and their animals.  Aaron did not want to look at the camera. First he is checking out Leah's animals...

Then he is checking out Cameron's

Brothers!  Oh, the sweetness.

They are all looking at the camera!  Not the best faces, but all looking - I'll take that!!

I love this tradition that we started and I think it is great that the kiddos love it too!

Bath Time Fun

We interrupt these Halloween posts for a random post about bathtime!  The kids love to take a bath together and since they are all small enough to fit in the tub all at once, we let them do it fairly often.  Aaron loves being in the big tub with the big kids.

Getting everyone to look for a picture was impossible.  I guess one out of three is acceptable.

Cutey baby in the big tub!

He thought splashing was great!

And Leah thinks his splashing is hilarious!

Cameron shows Aaron how to pour water over his head.  Get ready Aaron, you are next!

Yikes, that is a lot of water!!

It just keeps coming (and Leah's face cracks me up)

All done, what a good boy!!  He didn't cry, didn't flinch, just let it happen.  He is an awesome water baby.

Cameron wants to show Aaron again how it is done.

Pumpkin Carving

Yesterday we got our pumpkins, today we carve them!  Learning from previous years, we kept our pumpkins inside overnight so that they wouldn't be freezing cold for carving them.

Ready to scoop out pumpkins and carve some cool faces

Daddy starts the scooping process

As usual, Leah gets right in there scooping out all of the guts and Cameron stands to the side, slightly participating but not really wanting to get his hands all gross with pumpkin innards.

Aaron was safely ensconced in the walker so that he wouldn't get into the pumpkin guts.

The finished products, faces designed by kids and carved mainly by Mama and Daddy.  Leah asked for her pumpkin to have pigtails just like her, and Cameron wanted crazy ears.  Cameron did some of the carving on his, but thought it was pretty tricky so let Daddy do most of it.

The kids were so happy with how their pumpkins came out!
