Visit with Mimi and Grandpa

This weekend, Mimi and Grandpa came up to visit and to meet Aaron.  The older kids were so excited for Mimi and Grandpa to arrive, they couldn't wait to see them!  They arrived on Friday afternoon so they came to the party at Mom and Dad's that evening.  After the Swamp Rat Run on Saturday morning (see that separate post), our big plans for Saturday were to hang out at home and work on some projects.  Tim and Tom went to Home Depot to get materials to build a ramp and fix the small door on the shed.  It was also a warm enough day that the kids could go swimming.

After dinner we went for a walk.  Of course, Cameron and Leah's "walk" was actually a drive in the Jeep!

One of Cameron's favorite things to do in the Jeep is to go on "an assignment".  Tim gives Cameron some kind of task to do that involves off-road driving in the Jeep and Cam has to finish the task in order to complete his assignment.  He loves it and thinks off-roading in the Jeep is a blast.  Here is Cam and Leah in the middle of an assignment.

It got pretty bumpy so Leah asked to get out.

The Jeep ran out of battery so we ditched it and continued the walk with a bike and the wagon.

It was great having them up here!  The kids loved spending time with Mimi and Grandpa, and as always, we enjoyed visiting with them.
