Cathy and Ron's Wedding, Part 2: Wedding Morning

The wedding wasn't until mid-afternoon, so we spent the morning walking around Bristol. What a cute town! Of course, we found lots of playgrounds. Cam seems to have a radar for them.

To start off the day, Cameron and Poppa goofed around with high fives

We started off on a small playground. Cameron loves to climb, so he headed right for the rope ladder.

There were two little swings next to each other so Cameron asked if he and Leah could swing together. Leah fit right into it and it was so cute!!

Then Cam wanted to take Leah for a ride down the slide. Mama helped him hold her and start down the slide.

Wheeee! Leah wasn't very impressed.

We walked around town for a while and found a "big kid's playground". It had lots of great climbing stuff and Cam had a blast. He rode on the merry-go-round. At first he was holding on real tight while Tim slowly turned him around.

After a few go-rounds, he got bold!

Oops, fell through! He caught himself and got right back up without too much of a fuss though, which was good.

There was a climbing wall that Cam was very interested in. He has done smaller climbing walls pretty easily so we let him try, even though this one was really tall. When he was towards the top, he was high enough that Tim could just barely reach him.

Probably not the best idea to let him climb a few hours before he was going to be in a wedding, but he made it to the top, so no problem!

He was so proud of himself, and we were proud too! It wasn't an easy climbing wall and he made it all the way up with only a little bit of direction from Tim (and Tim didn't hold him at all). After the first time up, he did it a bunch more times on his own.

I was so worried about him falling and bumping his face while he was playing on the playground, but luckily he was fine. Not so back at the hotel though, where he fell down a flight of stairs, tumbling head over feet, on the walk up to our room. He was fine though, but I thought it was a bit funny that he did all kind of big kid stuff on the playground but then ended up getting hurt walking up stairs!
