Cam Cute: Hockey Boy

Setting: 7:45am, Saturday morning, in the Ottawa hotel room.
Mama: Cam, do you want to watch cartoons?
Cameron: No, Mama, watch hockey!
Mama: You want to watch hockey instead of cartoons?
Cameron (performs toddler equivalent of eye roll): Yes, Mama.

We proceed to watch hockey for another hour, until Tim wakes up. Thank goodness for Canada, who has hockey on multiple channels at all times of the day!! We watched hockey in the morning, noon and night (whenever we were in the hotel room, it was on). At one point, we couldn't find a station in English playing a hockey game, so we watched recaps from a game on a French station. Cam didn't seem to mind one bit.

Setting: Dinner table, Monday night. Cameron refuses to eat his hamburger.
Mama: Cameron, did you know that if you eat your hamburger, it will make you stronger? A big strong hockey player.
Cameron: Meat make me strong for hockey?
Mama: Yes, it will make you strong. Drinking milk will make you strong too.
Cameron: Oooohhhhhh, okay.

Cameron proceeds to devour most of hamburger and two glasses of milk, stopping occasionally to do muscle poses with his arms and tell us "Me get strong!" Whatever works, right?
