Christmas in MA, Part 2 - Christmas Eve in Swansea

On Christmas Eve, we had a great time with the whole family hanging out at Mimi and Grandpa's house.  We spent the afternoon hanging out together, then headed to Christmas Eve church, then back to the house for dinner and more hanging out.  It was a wonderful, relaxed Christmas Eve.

After church and dinner, it was time for one of Tim's favorite Christmas traditions - lighting the spinning angel candles.  Leah and Lucia were very interested in it.

Christmas in MA, Part 1 - Gingerbread Houses

This year we were in Massachusetts for Christmas.  It was great spending an extended amount of time with our Walker family, we got to have so much fun!  One of the first and most important traditions we did while we were there was the annual gingerbread house building party.

I love Christmas at Auntie Kim's!!

I am not sure what I love the most about this picture - Leah's extreme concentration, her gorgeous curly-q pigtails or the mess of white frosting all over our perfect roof.

Leah really went to town with the frosting

And mama was glad to watch her work

Jeff and Jack were great teammates, as always

Decorating the Christmas Tree

We decorated the tree tonight.  It was extra fun having little Mr. Aaron running around getting into everything!  We had to make sure we had the breakable ornaments up high away from him because he really wanted to "help."

Cameron got to put the breakable ornaments on the tree

Leah being cute

Daddy hanging the breakable ones up high

Cam wanted to help Aaron hang an ornament on the tree

It wasn't easy to get Aaron to understand that he was supposed to be hanging the ornament on the tree branch.

Mama's turn to try - can she get Aaron to hang up an ornament?

Enough decorating, time for snuggles!!

Thanksgiving weekend in Rochester

After Thanksgiving at our house, we headed to Rochester on Friday.  We had dinner at Omi's and hung out with lots of family.  On Saturday we went to the Rochester Zoo with the Langes.  It was a little bit chilly out, but that just meant that the zoo was pretty empty.  The animals were out and active though, which the kids loved!

This isn't the best picture of any of us, but I wanted to show how little Aaron was all snuggled up in his stroller.  He was so cute, all snuggly warm!

The rhinos were inside.  Cameron especially enjoyed checking them out, they were so big!

Leah and Bridgette

It's a bird, it's a plane... no wait, it actually is a bird (not surprising, since we were in the aviary).

So much cuteness in this picture - Abby, Leah, Bridgette, and Cam

The tiger was right up near the fence, very cool

On Sunday morning before we headed home, we stopped over to see Great-Grandma and Great-Grandpa.
