The big reason for Tim and the kids heading to Massachusetts for the weekend was to celebrate Lucia's first birthday. The party was at Cathy and Ron's house, out in their yard. Everyone had a great time and the kids loved playing together.
Leah loves Lucia!
Loves her to the point where Lucia is starting to look around for someone to help her get free of Leah's iron grip.
Cousins!
Lucia and her mama, Cathy
Lucia and Grandpa
This is the only picture of Cameron from the entire party. I guess that he was having too much fun to get in any pictures!
The girls!! Leah, Ella and Lucia
Big blue eyes!
Lucia with her birthday cupcakes - yummy!
A little help with blowing out the candle
What a cutie she is!
Time to dig in
Someone is loving her cake!
And she isn't the only one...
Family picture! Ron, Lucia and Cathy
Leah LOVED her cupcake. Really, Leah loves anything with frosting.

Swimming at the Landing
On Saturday morning, the Borsts came down to Swansea in the morning before the party. It was a warm and sunny day so everyone went down to the Landing to go swimming.
Jack and Cameron playing on the beach
And the girls playing on the beach
The Landing and the kiddos. Make sure to notice the smokestacks in the background... looks like the Simpsons!
I love how much Ella and Leah love each other!
Leah and Ella hanging out on the rock while Uncle Jeff takes his bucket to go and play in the sand?
Cameron going to get some water
Cuties Ella and Jack!
Ella, Cameron and Jack
As always, the Landing was tons of fun (and some good photo ops too)!

Patriots Training Camp
The first weekend in August, Tim and the kids headed down to Massachusetts to celebrate Lucia's first birthday (that will be a separate post). I couldn't go because I was out of town at a conference in Texas and was not able to get back into town soon enough to drive to MA with them. Tim decided to drive down there on Thursday night so that on Friday they could go to Patriots training camp.
When I talked to Tim about it to see what they thought he said that the kids loved it. I was kind of surprised that a 4 and 2 year old would LOVE watching a football practice... turns out what they loved was the ten bounce houses that happened to also be at the practice. It sounds like they also enjoyed watching the football a bit, but hands down the bounce houses were the best.
Keeping cool with a sports drink
#87 - Rob Gronkowski
Two sweaty babies watching the practice
Gillette Stadium
Bill Belichick, the Patriots head coach
#83 - Wes Welker
And the man himself, #12 - Tom Brady
Patriots training camp fun
And now, on to the REALLY fun part - the bounce houses! That is Cameron climbing up the ladder.
Cam and Leah loved them!
Two kiddos who love their grandpa
Tim, Ryan and Leah hanging out, watching the practice
Tim was so glad that he was able to go check out the training camp, he has been wanting to go for years. The fact that the kids liked it, Grandpa could go with them and Ryan could meet them there just made it all the more fun. Ever since they went, the kids have been yelling "Go Patriots!" at random times. They loved it!!

Matt and Gina's Wedding Rehearsal
Hooray, Matt and Gina are married! We don't have any good pictures from the wedding (we are waiting for the pictures from their fabulous photographers), but here are some good ones from the rehearsal.
Leah and Cameron practicing their very important walk down the aisle
They also wanted to practice walking up the stairs, even though they weren't actually going to do that.
Matt and Gina with one of their officiants
We told Cameron that he should run around all the paths and he actually did it. He ran and ran and ran.
Matt and Gina at the top of the Thornden Park Lily Pond waterfall, where they were supposed to be married (damn you, rain!)
A beautiful setting, if only it didn't rain
Leah shows off the white tiger tattoo on her belly. She is one classy flower girl, we know! At least we were smart enough not to let her put the tattoo on any limbs that would be visible during the wedding!
Cuteness overload!
Gina with her parents
Leah grabbed one of Gina's practice bouquets from her
The groomsmen (and others): Matt, Cameron, Paul, Ozzie, Ricky, Gary and Brian
And the girls: Alison, Heather, me, Sarah and Gina
Cutie!
She doesn't appear to be bothered by the fact that the bow is now on her head.
After the rehearsal was done, the boys headed off to get their tuxedos and the girls went to get their nails done. We all reconvened later that night for the rehearsal dinner at Spaghetti Warehouse.
If only this picture wasn't so dark, you could tell that Uncle Paul is a goofball and Leah is trying to figure out what the heck he is doing
Silly girl!
Cameron opening his present from Uncle Matt and Aunt Gina
Leah checking out her gift
Leah LOVES her umbrella that she got as a flowergirl gift
Sleepy baby girl
Cameron loves his gift too!
We had lots of fun with the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner! We will put a few pictures up from the wedding itself, but we are waiting for the really good ones from the photographer. No matter what though, congrats to Matt and Gina - we love you!!!!
