As you can see, we have been on a bit of break lately. We don't have any good reason, but a few excuses. The first week in May our laptop broke and then after that both Tim and I got extremely busy at work. That crazy busy time lasted about two months, in which we never bought a new battery for the laptop. And also never had time to write a blog post anyway! Now we fixed the laptop and maybe will have a little more time to write a post or two. I hope!
I am going to start writing posts to catch up on everything that we missed over the last few months. When I make the posts, I am going to back date them to be around when they actually happened. So when you see things show up from a few months ago that you didn't see before - that is why!
For now, a cute picture of Mama and the kiddos!

Easter at Kim and Jeff's
On Easter morning we drove up to Millis for family Easter brunch. Cameron and Leah were beyond excited to see their cousins (the candy they ate in the morning most likely added to the excitement) and were bouncing the whole car ride. Everyone played for a while, then headed outside to have an Easter egg hunt. There were tons of eggs, some tricky ones and some a little easier for Leah. The kids all had a great time.
Cam, picking up one egg while scanning the backyard for more
Ella and Jack grab some eggs
Must run to find more!!
I like that Jack didn't even have time to put any in his basket, he has them all in his hands. This egg hunting is serious stuff!
Leah finds one!
Cam going for more
Cameron and Jack looking over the wood pile - lots of little nooks and cranies that eggs can hide in.
Pretty girl
She did so well, getting lots of eggs
She was so excited to find this "pitty egg" (pretty egg)
I thought Cam looked so handsome in his Easter outfit
Some good looking Easter egg hunters
Leah, Ella, Cameron and Jack (Lucia was inside cause it was a bit too chilly out)
They all crouched down and it was so cute!
There were eggs up in the playhouse, so they all went up there to get their eggs. Then they wanted to slide down, including Leah....
Unfortunately, no one thought about the tights she was wearing and how they would send her flying down the slide. At the end of the slide, she flew about three feet before hitting the ground. It was pretty impressive. Leah was not so impressed.
Jack and Cam grabbing the last few eggs up on the hill
Then it was time to go back inside and check out the loot
Ella looking at her candy prizes
Uncle Jeff gives Leah a hand opening her eggs
Leah was very excited to have candy in her basket and chowed down immediately. Unfortunately, in this picture she was attempting to chow down on a Starburst still in its wrapper. Not exactly the delicious candy she was hoping for!
Cam couldn't get over all of the candy he got, he was so excited
So was Leah (if you look close enough, you can see a mouth full of chocolate!)
The Easter brunch spread - it was all AMAZING!
While waiting for brunch to be ready, Leah built a tower. She was very proud of herself.

After a delicious brunch meal, the kids got a few more Easter treats.
Cam loved getting a new book

Cutie Lucia sitting on the rocking chair
What a gorgeous girl!
Leah and Jack peek over the top of the chair
Cutie pie smile!
Leah got jealous of Lucia getting lots of pictures taken in the chair, so as soon as Lucia was out of the chair, Leah was in!
Jack and Lucia
Hooray, cousins!! Leah, Jack, Cameron, Ella and Lucia
Leah and Jack snuggles
Lucia really liked the pretty colored eggs
Cam and Leah giving Jack kisses!!
And a kiss for Leah, from Jack
We headed home around 2, driving pretty much the whole way through. Cam, Leah and Mama fell asleep almost immediately and we all slept for 2-3 hours (all the way into NY!). It was a wonderful long weekend in CT and MA!

Easter Morning
We asked Cameron what he wanted to do for Easter morning, since we would not be at home. The Easter Bunny would normally go to our house and leave the kids' baskets, but we asked Cameron if we should email the Easter Bunny and ask him to bring the baskets to Mimi and Grandpa's instead. He thought about it for a while and decided that he would like their baskets at Mimi and Grandpa's. The email was sent and the Easter Bunny did what we asked.
Being silly on Easter morning, waiting for Mama and Daddy to be ready to go downstairs
Another silly monkey
The Easter egg hunt starts - each one of them found an egg right away
Leah finds her special egg (it had "paper money" inside)
Ooops, Cameron found Leah's basket. He did really good though, not telling her where it was and just giving a clue or two to the location.
She found it!
She didn't realize that she could bring the whole basket over, so she was trying to pick up each thing and bring it over.
Cameron found his in the coat closet
Happy boy!
I wish we had a video of him going through his basket, it was so cute. For each thing, he would pick it up, look at it and say "Yes, a _____!!" He was so enthusiastic about everything, even the socks. :-P
Finally Leah brought her basket over and started looking through it too.
Comparing basket contents
Someone is very excited about getting chocolate
And someone else is excited about getting a movie
Leah looks awesome in her new shades
Cam dumped out his entire basket for better inspection purposes
Getting the kids to take a nice picture together was not easy
I think this was our best shot
Leah went through her basket about a hundred times, naming each thing in it. It was cute.
Trying to get a picture with their Easter baskets and their nice Easter clothes. It was about as successful as earlier (aka, not very!).
The next photo shoot location was outside in front of the flowering bushes. This was one of the first pictures we took and it turned out pretty darn cute.
And then here are a bunch more. Mainly very silly, like this one, where Cam started being silly.
Then Leah joined in the silliness
Being silly together
And then dancing
I think I told them to say "Easter Bunny" for this picture. You can see how well that worked.
Then I told Cam to put his arm around Leah
This one is pretty cute other than Cam smushing Leah's face!
And the final picture of the shoot... more silliness. At least we got a couple cute ones (and a lot of silly ones)!
After the photo shoot, we packed up the car and headed up to Kim and Jeff's for Easter brunch with everyone.
