Day at the Zoo

This weekend we decided to try and do a few fun things with Cameron - a few final outings as a family of three. We got a membership at the Syracuse Zoo earlier this year so we decided to head over there. It was a beautiful day, so everyone else in Syracuse had the exact same idea! We ended up mainly looking at the outside animals because it was so hot and crowded in the buildings. Cameron had a great time though - he really loves animals and can stand and watch them for far longer than I would have thought his attention span would last. We will definitely be taking advantage of our membership this summer - it makes Cam so happy go to to the zoo and the animals are fun to watch.

Riding on a tiger!
Cam did not like riding the tiger all by himself.
He did like walking on the "secret" path by himself, and was a bit peeved that Daddy was following him. He said, "I go by myself" and then tried to speed walk away from Tim.
Cam climbed up on some rocks and then goofed around while we tried to take a nice picture of him. We got some cute ones!
I think I told him that I was going to tickle him right before this picture.
Cameron's current favorite show is "Rocket Ship" (the real name is Little Einsteins, on the Disney channel) and he was doing a "Blast Off!!" in this picture.

Looking out for a swimming penguin - he loved when they would swim right by him. Unfortunately, we did not get any pictures of that.
The lions were all out enjoying the nice weather. This one looked especially comfortable!
